Benton Elementary kindergarten field trip to Dr. Sells office for
Childrens Dental Health Month in February 2015.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month. Did you know? Tooth decay is the number one chronic illness in children. 51 million school hours are lost each year to dental problems. Research shows that if a child's tooth decay goes untreated, it can lead to tooth loss, speech problems and even low self-esteem. Each year Benton Elementary School's kindergarten class visits Dr. Sells and Dr. Prather's office during the month of February to learn how to better take care of their teeth. They watch a short video about visiting the dentist, ride in a dental chair and get to see a magic show performed by Dr. Sells. The classes that visited Dr. Sells office on February 10, 2015 were from Mrs. Misty Green, Mrs. Traci Crass, Ms. Denise Dunevant and Mrs. Brittany Ramage.

Re: National School Breakfast Week

Thank you for coming to South Elementary for the week of March 3-7. Your magic did the trick of “fueling the imagination” of the students to make for a successful campaign for National School Breakfast Week. They were excited and started their day off right with a good breakfast.

Without people like you, who do so much for our community, we would not have been so successful. Your commitment to the area school children is very commendable, and we are so appreciative for your support. You cannot imagine what this meant to the students. Sometimes it is the little things that people do for children, which make the biggest impact on their lives.

Sincerely,
Millie Knuckles
Cafeteria Manager
South Marshall Elementary School

Dear Dr. Sells,
Thank you so much for speaking to our parent committee. You provided them with great information and got them thinking about their child's dental care.
Thank you for helping the preschoolers of Marshall County.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Lauer,
Family Service Worker
